my outlook on life

life is primarily a joke. we all just end up going through the motions, like puppets under the control of society, day in and day out. we spend twenty some odd years in school, so that later on down the road when we waste our lives away working jobs we hate, we can at least look at is as somewhat of an accomplishment. we can say that we've worked for it, or worked for work really. meanwhile, everything that matters in our lives gets pushed aside, and set on the back burner, until we eventually forget about them. but it's okay because we'll make a lot of money, and in doing so we'll buy lots of nice things to fill the empty holes in our lives. material objects will be justification for the cubicles and traffic jams that run our lives. all of our passions and dreams end up getting thrown right out the window. then one day, we realize all of this, and take a better look at our priorities in life. the sad part is that when we finally find this out, we're often too old to make up for lost time. our one true love left a long time ago, our children hate us, and most of our friends are the same asshole that we've become. this is how we've spent our time on earth.

weather through the lows, cherish the highs, and appreciate the in betweens. live life with no regrets.
